Apart from Södertörn University, the Faktaassistenten project has in fact several media partners that remained connected to the project and constitute the main beneficiary of its various workshop activities. Furthermore, they are given early access to the working version of the web application and receive training on how to use the service to help them with their day-to-day verification tasks. The partners are presented below in no specific order.

Swedish Television (SVT)


Sveriges Television AB (SVT) is Sweden’s national public TV broadcaster funded by a public service tax on personal income. The foundation’s members are appointed by the Swedish government and the license funds are awarded to SVT by the Swedish state.

Swedish Radio (SR)


Sveriges Radio AB (SR) is Sweden’s national public radio broadcaster. It is a public limited liability company owned by an independent foundation. It was previously funded through a licensing fee but since January 2019, its funding comes from standard taxation.

Dagens Nyheter (DN)


Dagens Nyheter (DN) is a daily Swedish broadsheet newspaper with its headquarters in the capital Stockholm. It is among the top most widely read newspapers in the country.
